Open Question: i need some more added to a survival task 10 points!!!?

i have pitted myself against nature. i own 300 something square acres behind our house. i need more added to this task. i am making a camp in said woods. I need this to be a bigger task than i have it at the moment. i can only use natural objects. excluding tools to make it, such as machetes, axes, and thin rope. I,so far, have only the following:build shelter, must be water proof, (i have already found a place for this camp) there must be a storage place outside of the shelter, i have to have a fire pit,and a water basin to collect any rain water. I need more tasks and luxuries around the place if anyone can list as many as they can. Also i am planning to cheat on one part of this project. i hate snakes with a burning passion, so i plan to use moth balls in order to keep them away, i hate to do this but i have no idea as to how i can keep myself safe from them. if anyone has any ideas please include them. thank you
okay as for the location details,in northeastern louisiana. no swamps -_-. i re-read the water basin and it sounded more or less useless. and the mothballs are a cheat. ive decided not to use the. I dont think i could use a square. I dont have the heart to kill a trapped animal. If it was an emergency yes.Also if its not trapped thats a different story. the plants are just oaks, thorn bushes, pine trees, and some black berries (they for sure are blackberries otherrwise i would have died or been ill long ago) the pond its by is fishless and the streams have minows. it has become stagnate due to various beaver dams along the stream.
