Resolved Question: what should i bring on my camping/survival trip?

im going to be in 100's of acres of woodlands and the rules are i can only bring one weapon i was thinking either my mora 711, full size usmc ka bar, or a machete.?
also it is very hot here but i know i need pants should i buy waterproof pants so they dont get soaked walking through knee high vegetation covered in dew and what for a shirt?
